The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has conducted a comprehensive reassessment of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) safety. This was triggered by several reports of peripheral neuropathy in consumers of high-dose vitamin B6 supplements.

- New Maximum Level: EFSA proposes a new UL (Tolerable Upper Intake Level) of 12.5 mg/day for adults (previously 25 mg/day)
